Troncones

Troncones Beach, Municipality of La Union, Guerrero, is a small beachfront community that has sprung up only about 30 kms to the north of Ixtapa Zihuatanejo. It offers long stretches of uncrowded beach, small tranquil inns and bed-and-breakfasts, and both relaxing and invigorating outdoor activities such as birdwatching, beach-combing, mountain biking and surfing.

Ixtapa Zihuatanejo

Ixtapa Zihuatanejo is a twin beach resort situated on La Costa Grande (Great Coast) of the Pacific Ocean north of Acapulco on what is also known as the “Mexican Riviera”. The fishing community of Zihuatanejo is located on the gorgeous and protected Zihuatanejo Bay while Ixtapa, a touristic resort developed by the government, lies some 5 kms to the north on the open ocean.
