Patzcuaro: Doorway to Heaven

Colonial Pátzcuaro is a delightful destination in the coolness of the Michoacan hills. Attractions include the many regional wood, straw, clay, metal and textile crafts, visits to the Basilica, the regional museum and the nearby island of Janitzio located in Lake Patzcuaro.
